Thinking back, looking forward; Utah skier remembers snow Thanksgiving 2001

By Amy | Posted 11/18/2007 | 1 Comment

With all the gloomy ski posts and articles floating around the internet due to the lack of snow … thought I would pass this one along from an Alta, Utah ski blog I found earlier today highlighting the ski report from Alta, Thanksgiving week, six years ago.

This is a classic … Alta ski report November 25, 2001 posted by the Ski Bum Poet.

It was only last week that we were closed because we didn’t have enough snow. And now, we’re closed because we have too much snow. The storm we’re in right now is doing very good things to Alta. Once we have a chance to dig out a little bit, we’ll be able to come up with a solid opening time.

Thinking back to the past, and looking forward to the future. You just never know … power of positive thinking.
