Outdoor jobs; landscaping jobs in Jackson, Wyoming

By Amy | Posted 03/07/2008 | 3 Comments

Many people that I have known through the years in Jackson Hole flat out will only work an outdoor job. That is why they chose to live in an outdoor town in the mountains and luckily for them … there is no lack of outdoor jobs in a resort town.

One of the more popular outdoor jobs in a mountain resort town is working for a landscaping company. Beautiful homes with well manicured lawns in resort areas are plentiful and they often require regular maintenance. It is about that time of year when you will start to see landscaping companies in the mountain towns looking to add to their staff … gearing up for the busy season ahead.

MountainScapes, Inc. in Jackson, Wyoming is currently recruiting for a Landscape Foreman, Landscape Laborers, Lawn Mowing Crew Members and an Irrigation Technician. ( View Jackson, WY jobs )

It is important to look at why you are choosing this lifestyle and what it may take here for you to personally thrive. The truth is … a good, well-paying, full-time job does not have to signify an office environment working a traditional 9-5.

I am currently working in the chicagoland area as a plastic injection molder/processing tech./night supervisor/quality inspector. After working 5 years on the 3rd shift and being an ‘outdoors’ person, I finally decided its time to move on. I am curious about the pay for the diff. positions offered, and whether or not this is seasonal work.
