I. POSITION SUMMARY

The AI Strategy Lead is responsible for leading Legal Soft’s enterprise-wide AI strategy, automation initiatives, research operations, and AI implementation efforts across internal departments and operational business units.

This role serves as the primary strategic leader of the AI team and is responsible for identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and operationalizing AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, workforce scalability, client service delivery, reporting accuracy, process automation, and organizational innovation.

The AI Strategy Lead oversees AI Researchers, AI Implementation Specialists, automation initiatives, and cross-functional AI projects while partnering closely with Executive Leadership, Operations, HR, Marketing, Recruiting, Sales, and IT teams to integrate practical AI solutions into Legal Soft’s day-to-day business operations.

The ideal candidate is highly strategic, operationally driven, technologically adaptable, and capable of translating emerging AI technologies into scalable business applications that support Legal Soft’s long-term growth and competitive advantage.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. AI Strategy & Organizational Leadership

a. Develop and lead Legal Soft’s overall AI and automation strategy aligned with executive priorities and operational business goals.

b. Lead and manage the internal AI team, including AI Researchers, AI Implementation Specialists, automation support personnel, and innovation initiatives.

c. Build scalable AI frameworks, governance structures, implementation standards, and operational AI roadmaps.

d. Identify AI opportunities that improve:

  • Workforce productivity
  • Operational scalability
  • Client support processes
  • Reporting accuracy
  • Recruitment efficiency
  • Internal workflow automation
  • Knowledge management systems

e. Advise Executive Leadership on AI trends, automation opportunities, operational risks, and emerging technologies relevant to Legal Soft’s business model.

f. Drive organization-wide AI adoption and innovation culture initiatives across departments.

B. AI Research Oversight & Innovation Management

a. Oversee advanced research initiatives involving:

  • AI platforms
  • SaaS technologies
  • LLMs
  • AI agents
  • Workflow automation tools
  • Productivity systems
  • Recruitment and legal support technologies

b. Evaluate AI tools and vendors based on:

  • Operational applicability
  • ROI potential
  • Scalability
  • Security and compliance considerations
  • Ease of implementation
  • Long-term business value

c. Guide the AI team in identifying practical business applications instead of trend-based or non-scalable AI solutions.

d. Monitor AI market developments, enterprise adoption trends, automation innovations, and competitive opportunities relevant to Legal Soft.

e. Ensure all AI research outputs are executive-ready, actionable, and operationally relevant.

C. AI Implementation & Operational Integration

a. Lead AI implementation projects from research and evaluation through deployment and operational adoption.

b. Collaborate with:

to integrate AI solutions into internal business processes.

c. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative, recruitment, reporting, communication, and operational workflows.

d. Oversee pilot testing, implementation planning, AI workflow optimization, and operational rollout strategies.

e. Ensure AI solutions are properly monitored, maintained, documented, and evaluated for effectiveness.

f. Support development of AI-assisted systems for:

  • Recruitment screening
  • Operational reporting
  • Workforce management
  • Client communication support
  • Knowledge base development
  • Process documentation
  • Productivity enhancement

D. Cross-Functional Business Enablement

a. Serve as Legal Soft’s primary AI strategy advisor for department leaders and executives.

b. Translate complex AI concepts into practical operational recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

c. Support department heads in identifying AI-driven improvements aligned with operational KPIs and company growth objectives.

d. Facilitate AI readiness, adoption training, and change management initiatives across teams.

e. Promote a culture of innovation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

E. AI Governance, Risk Management & Compliance

a. Establish responsible AI usage standards and governance practices across the organization.

b. Evaluate legal, operational, compliance, confidentiality, and data privacy risks associated with AI adoption.

c. Ensure AI initiatives align with:

  • Client confidentiality standards
  • Internal policies
  • Data protection requirements
  • Operational security standards
  • Applicable legal and compliance requirements

d. Develop AI evaluation and approval frameworks for tools, vendors, and implementation requests.

e. Maintain oversight of AI documentation, implementation records, operational impact reports, and governance tracking.

F. Executive Reporting & Strategic Planning

a. Prepare executive-level reports, implementation updates, AI strategy presentations, and innovation roadmaps.

b. Track:

  • Team productivity improvements

c. Present strategic recommendations and implementation priorities to Executive Leadership.

V. JOB SPECIFICATION

Educational Attainment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Master’s degree is an advantage

Related Work Experience

  • At least 5–8 years of experience in:
    • AI strategy
    • Automation leadership
    • Technology operations
    • Digital transformation
    • Innovation management
    • Operational systems improvement
  • At least 2–3 years of leadership or people management experience strongly preferred
