Summary
The Race Crew Representative is responsible for the daily operation of public and private NASTAR races. As a member of our Guest Services team, Race Crew Representative provides exceptional customer service and a positive experience on the racecourse while ensuring the highest level of safety for our guests.
Essential Job Functions
  • Daily setup, breakdown and maintenance of racecourses
  • Transport race material to and from venues
  • Meet and greet guests as they enter registration area
  • Manage guest registration for races, collect and account for any associated race fees
  • Provide race tips to inexperienced guests
  • Time races and announce results

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

A physical assessment (Work Ready) is required for certain positions.
Skiing or Snowboarding is required for certain positions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience racing or working for a racing program helpful
Basic computer & accounting skills
Snowmobile experience useful
Advanced or above skiing/snowboarding skills
Able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions for extended periods of time
Fluent in English - verbal and written
Other language skills a plus, especially Spanish
