Job Summary
**RANGELEY MAINE LOCATION**

We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Retail Sales and Service Associate to join our team at Northern Lights! As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping and customer service experience. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, working the register and stocking shelves. As a Service Associate, you will service bikes and skis, along with assemble bikes and mount skis. This is a part time job. Pay rate is based on experience. The ideal candidate will have a steady interest in bikes and skis and gain knowledge on the brands that we proudly sell.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance while customers are shopping
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales
• Collect payments by cash, check and credit card
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work a register or willing to learn
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ability to service bikes and skis, or be willing to train
