Job Description
Evergreen Door & Window is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Part-Time
Bookkeeping Assistant to support our accounting department in internal operations and
data entry.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks for multiple
entities. The Bookkeeping Assistant will work directly with the Bookkeeper/Accountant
to post daily accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, perform account
reconciliation, run detailed reports and post job costs into the CRM software.
The ideal candidate is confident in QuickBooks, practices a high level of detail,
maintains organized files, and remains willing to assist in other areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & QuickBooks
Record customer payments into appropriate income accounts
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
Record and appropriately categorize vendor invoices
Assist with monthly close process and reporting support
Maintain organized digital records and documentation
Reporting and Documentation
Summarize employee timecards for payroll preparation
Track PTO balances
Prepare weekly sale reports for salesmen and management
