Receives instructions, assignments, wiring diagrams, and blueprints on work to be done from Maintenance Foreman.
Analyzes the drawings and wiring diagrams to plan logical approach to job and determine material and replacement needs
Locate sources of trouble of electrical equipment by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for improper operations.
Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts, or replaces faulty parts and wiring on motors, starters, control panels, circuit breakers, electronic devices, etc.
Tests and adjusts equipment for proper and safe operating conditions.
Installs conduit fittings, switches, controls, fixtures, and wires and connects all types of electrical equipment as required for new installations, replacements or repairs
Provide accurate accounting of labor and parts used via IMaint work order system
Keep work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner at all times
