What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, package units, and air handlers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and control-related issues with accuracy and confidence.
• Perform comprehensive system inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance evaluations.
• Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend effective, long-term solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, clearly explaining findings and repair options.
• Complete service documentation accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and indoor air quality when appropriate.
• Manage service calls independently while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a mid-level to senior technician who has developed strong technical skills and can confidently handle residential service calls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience; 5 or more years strongly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, particularly with electrical systems, refrigerant circuits, and airflow issues.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete service calls efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer focused attitude.
• Experience with heat pumps and high efficiency HVAC equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and a commitment to continued professional growth.
