Driver/Porter/Student

I have lived in Texas all my life and eager for a new experience in the mountains. There is no snow in east Texas, therefore, my experience in a ski resort position may be limited. Being in a new environment and being able to learn new tasks quickly are just some of my strong suits that make me feel comfortable with such a change of scenery and experience.

I have taken my second year at this community college. It was closer to home and much more affordable for me to pay for classes. Currently I am taking online courses to finish up my Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice.

N/A in Criminal Justice @ Sam Houston State University

I attended my freshmen year of college at this university. Financial struggles back home lead me to only complete one year at this institution.

HS Graduate Diploma @ The Woodlands College Park High School

I attended all 4 years at this school and was very dedicated to the Track and Field program during my 4 years. I was a general AB student during my years here.

Experience

Driver/Porter @ Texan Glass & Solar Control
Jun 2023 — Sep 2023

Transport vehicles from point A to point B safely and efficiently through the city of Houston. Most vehicles were rental vehicles from Enterprise ranging from sedans to pickups trucks to transit vans. Maintain great communication with the dispatch at the shop for emergencies and updates on current locations. Another responsibility is to clean, maintain, and help around the shop with windshield installers and commercial workers with unloading/loading heaving beams and glass.

Valet Captain & Runner @ ACE Parking
Jun 2021 — Jun 2023

I worked for ACE Parking at the Marriott in The Woodlands. The two positions I worked were the 'Runner' and the 'Captain'. The responsibilities for the Runner, is to park and to retrieve the car as safely and as efficient as possible. It took patience and hours and hours of building up experience and skill to feel comfortable enough to park huge pickup trucks, to expensive cars. The 'Captain' position is more of the leader for ones self and for the runners. You greet the hotel guests directly as they arrive, assign tickets, and work with the computer system that was used for organizing the tickets assigned.
