A recent survey of 1,000 Gen Y recent graduates by the Segmentation Company indicates that 65 percent prefer to “look for a job in the place that I would like to live” rather than “look for the best job I can find, the place where it is located [being] secondary.”
While some students said taking a job so far off the beaten track is intimidating while their friends follow more conventional career paths, they said their excitement about doing something they love helps to offset worries about venturing far away from family and friends.

By the looks of all the snow today on Teton Pass, we can see here in Jackson that winter is clearly on its way!
Heading out to ski country this season?
The resort hiring season has begun, and there are a variety of job options to choose from. Where to go? To tell you the truth, I don’t think you can really make a poor choice anywhere in the Rocky Mountain West. Montana, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming are the ski town areas that I have explored throughout the years, and can honestly say that I have liked each and every one.
