    It doesn’t take too long living in a resort town to realize that one of the best jobs around is cleaning homes. Between the multitudes of large homes, second home owners, vacation rentals, and new construction … quality housekeepers are always in demand and are often paid as well as (sometimes more than) the local office jobs. Yes, it is hard work, but is the kind of job that many mountain locals like to have, not much sitting around … an active occupation.

    Reading from afar these past few months … I have been following the news of the proposed Teton Meadows South Park development project in Jackson, Wyoming and thought I would share the latest from this week’s Jackson Hole News and Guide.

    Board backs South Park project
    County planning panel OKs 500-home Teton Meadows plan but with numerous conditions.

    It is hard to get the full picture without actually being in town … but clearly … there has been quite a bit of controversy over this one.

    Many people that I have known through the years in Jackson Hole flat out will only work an outdoor job. That is why they chose to live in an outdoor town in the mountains and luckily for them … there is no lack of outdoor jobs in a resort town.
